Target is the latest company to be hit with a class action lawsuit for biometric privacy violations–specifically facial recognition data.

Legal departments are growing concerned that user research recordings present a similar risk.

Product teams are increasingly finding themselves forced to delete recordings sooner, or to forego recording research sessions entirely–which makes product design less efficient and less effective.

I’ll be talking about the risks of user recordings, as well as tools that can intelligently remove biometric identity information, at Rosenfeld’s Designing with AI conference in June.
