Discussing responsible AI: A Rosenfeld community workshop
A week from today I’ll be facilitating Rosenfeld Media’s Advancing Research community workshop on artificial intelligence.
Many people have raised alarms about potential harms of AI. On September 18 at 4PM EDT, I’ll be talking with Rachael Dietkus, Nishanshi Shukla, and David Womack about what researchers and tech professionals can do to mitigate the following issues in AI tool use:
👤 Psychological harm to users
📚 Damage to our knowledge bases
⚖️ Bias and hidden injustices
If you’ve been asked to incorporate AI into your work, this is an opportunity to join the conversation about risks and to understand options for more responsible AI adoption.
You can register for free here. More details to be published soon.
(This is workshop 5 of 7 in the Advancing Research community workshop series, curated by Jemma Ahmed and Chris Geison in preparation for Advancing Research 2025.)
